21 Jun Trusting The Progress
When I leave Rebel I want to leave with experience and skills. My time at Rebel has been very enhanced in education and my environment. I learn to communicate with people around me and my co-works. The space and environment make me feel welcome and safe. My legacy should be positive around my peers and have good relationships with my peers whom I was in at work with for 3 hours every day knowing their names. At Rebel, I did not only get closer to these people but made lifelong friendships.
I love how this cooking class helped me know who and what to communicate, at Rebel I learned communication is a key part of life and it also matters how you communicate in the real world, I got to take and give instructions, I wasn’t sure if I belonged at rebel but I saw progress in confidence and my cooking skills were getting good but I learned how to read instructions and execute the words on papers to life.
When I came to Rebel the girls taught me how to speak confidently and believe in what I say, even though I was insecure that I had an accent or no one would understand me, the girls taught me to be brave. Cooking has always held a special place in my heart, and I have long dreamed of refining my culinary skills to create delicious and artful dishes
