Rebel Ventures is a social enterprise run by high school students. We seek out partnerships to help us master skills in our departments. Our partners have expertise in a variety fields that are connected to the Rebel Ventures business. Working with partners is beneficial to Rebel because it’s always good to learn from new people and because they have the experience to help us when we get stuck. Our partners come from all over our city and our world. As a high school student in Philadelphia, I don’t have the opportunity to travel out of the country but by working with Rebel Ventures it gives me the opportunity to meet people with many different accents and different ways of thinking. This helps me become more open-minded and is one of many reasons why working with Rebel helps me succeed in life. Here are some of my favorite partners from 2015.
This is Pol. He is an exchange student from Barcelona who is studying at Penn and began working with Rebel in the fall of 2015. He helps us come up with good ideas for videos and then films them and edits them with us. When he made videos with me, the way he explained things to me made me feel very important.
This is Britney & Tina. They are college students at Penn who began working with Rebel in the summer of 2015. Brittany support the Operations and Research and Development departments at Rebel. Tina supports the Sales and Accounting departments. The way both Tina and Brittney built relationships with me at Rebel made them feel as close as family members.
