My time at Rebel has been one of the best experiences of my life. I got to meet people and know things I didn’t even know about being in rebel ventures is a life changer. The people in Rebel are like family to me. Drew is like an uncle; Shomo, Jeanel, and Ehiyah, & Sky are like sisters; and Eric, Mekhi, Suhayb, Kevin are like brothers to me. Rebel is like home to me and cooking is what I love doing and making drinks too because I can mix things up in the kitchen. Rebel Ventures helped me push myself to do things I never really thought I would be doing. I am normally too shy to show people what I do or what I make so I hid out of fear that people would make fun of me or say mean things. But Rebel Ventures showed me that I don’t have to be afraid of being myself and show what I can do. I’m really happy for being in Rebel Ventures and being the Graphic Designer Special.  

Being a graphic designer is fun because I can design flyers, t-shirts, and other things for rebels. That is the main reason for me being here! Having a place that pushes me to do more and not to limit myself. This job gives me a chance to show what I can do and what I’m made of and gives me the opportunity to share this with other people. 

Rebel Ventures is a place where high school students can have the opportunity to come and to give them a chance to show their skills off in the kitchen or things that they are good at and to get to meet new people and learn new things and to go to places. And if they are interested in joining rebels or just want to do it for the end of the school year just to have the chance to have a part in it.
