As a person, I always felt like I had the potential to do anything I put my mind to but sometimes I need a little push. Rebel has given me that push. I have been at Rebel for a little over a year now. I began during my freshman year of high school. Before Rebel, I was  outspoken depending on the environment I was in. Now, I can adapt well to all crowds, and I’m more confident in what I say.

I have never let age stop me from doing anything in life. I feel as though age doesn’t determine a person’s maturity, they do. That’s what I always liked about being my own person. At Rebel, age does not matter. During my first year in high school I became in charge of the Rebel Champs program, a program implemented to give students the opportunities to sample crumbles during breakfast time to their peers. They recieve Rebel T-shirts to wear while sampling  and are given Rebel Snack Gardens to serve the crumbles on. In its first year, I worked to implement Rebel Champs in 23 schools.

This made me feel like I was starting something that could only grow as time passed. The success of Rebel Champs has impacted me because it made me feel like my actions and decisions impacted many students and that made me feel responsible.
