21 Jul Kayla's week

“Since starting work with reBel in October, everyday has served as an opportunity to learn. I take full advantage of all of those opportunities, not just because of the experience I gain now, but also because gaining knowledge in business and learning to sustain business relationships, are imperative for me to reach my future career goals.”
Monday is usually ReBels busiest days due to production and the number of orders we have to complete. In all the business I tend to move with quickness I also make mistakes. When you’re conducting business mistakes are almost never a good thing, but they are the best times to evaluate and learn. My mistake was over looking an email for a potential business opportunity, in the end I fixed the mistake and ensured a reBel bar sampling on Penn’s campus, which could turn in to a partnership.
Wensday we received another email about another potential partnership with 1920 commons also on Penn’s campus. When people reach out to work with ReBel with opportunity, its always very exciting so I was very interested to go and speak with Kyle, the owner of a grocery store in 1920. Meeting with Kyle was a great experience, because he expressed his interest in small local businesses, and was very open to trying our products, sampling and advertising our products around his store.
Friday for me was a much needed reflection day of my week. Over all this week I managed to to mess up but all in all learn from all of my mistakes which is always important. I helped myself along with my team to be more attentive, which is key in any business.
